Sunday, November 11, 2018

The ongoing digitization of the economy brings challenges for tax systems. How and where to fairly and effectively tax digital transactions? Is the proposed digital tax a suitable solution? How can be adjusted the current income tax and VAT in this respect? Questions of shared economy, cryptosmoderns and others will be discussed by practitioners, academics and government representatives.

The Digital Taxation Forum, organized by the University of Economics in Prague, the Chamber of Tax Advisors, IFA Czech Republic and Grant Thornton, is the place for discussing new proposals for taxing the digital economy and related impacts on entrepreneurs and tax administrations.

The conference will take place at the premises of the University of Economics in Prague, W. Churchill square 1938/4, Praha 3 – Žižkov, 130 67 and will be simultaneously translated into Czech and English.
