Václav Pátek, the vice-chairman of IFA, Česká republika
Tax advisor (as of 1996), attorney at law (as of 2010).
Vaclav achieved legal degree at the Charles University in Prague in 2006 (JUDr. – 2007). Before, he studied at the Technical University (ČVUT) in Prague (Ing. - 1984). Between 1991 and 1994 he practised t tax law as the Deputy Director and later as the Head of the Local Revenue Authority, the Indirect Taxes Department. From 1994 for further thirteen years he was employed in the international tax and audit company PricewaterhouseCoopers, formerly Coopers & Lybrand, as a tax adviser.
During the first year after the accomplishment of his legal education he was employed in the lawyer’s office Ambruz & Dark as a junior lawyer and the following two years in the lawyer’s office Kocián Šolc Balaštík. In 2010 he set up his own law firm.
